K-Food Terroir: from preparatory work to encounters in Korea
2026.05 · Korea 2026.08.03–08.13
Connecting places, products and chefs, with a preparatory contribution clearly distinguished from final delivery.
The initial work combined proposals, research, discussions with partners and institutions, budgets and a timetable. Jangmin Choi contributed to preparation until the first funding was confirmed in spring 2026, before stepping back from the assignment.
The immersion run by the organisers from 3 to 13 August connected Baekyangsa, Andong and Seoul. Press coverage mentions Jangmin as a member of the preparatory committee. This recognises a contribution to the project’s origins without attributing all final operations to him. The exchanges later informed the Paris programme and SAM restaurant content.
More than 300 hours of preparation according to internal records: proposals, research, partner and institutional discussions, budget and timetable planning, then document organisation and handover. Jangmin left the preparatory work in spring 2026, before final delivery.
